The Wesley Club in 1958 used various tools that would fill a huge table. As I remembered my youth in 1958, a bicycle would get me to the library where I found vast information with help from the Dewey Decimal system. You could get an instant photograph if you had a Polaroid camera. You could listen to whatever music you wanted if you just had that record. You could mail a letter and within a week or so get a reply. You could watch anything you wanted as long as it was on one of three TV stations and only at a specific time (and you better start watching from the beginning.) Photo albums took up a lot of the book shelf. Well, I could go on. All that I just mentioned fits on my cell phone today.
