If you know me from my childhood in the town of Xenia, Ohio you may be interested in some projects that I have started and now, committed to complete.
The first is a novel about childhood experiences in Xenia and even earlier in Sabina, Ohio. I call it “Jesse Sings” and it has earned a rating as Finalist in the 2015 William Faulkner – William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition under the category Novel-In-Progress, which it still is, but not for long.
I am trying to finish a short story “Super Hawk – Danny’s Funeral,” which was wonderfully workshopped at the St. Augustine Writers Workshop in 2014. I have set a deadline of February, 2017 to complete it. Then I’ll learn how to get it published.
Now that I have semi-retired, I intend to spend more time with my notebooks, craft books, Scrivener, Word, and Stylewriter. I will try to keep you all up to date on my progress.
